Joining a virtual lecture costs £5 per person/household*
Joining a virtual lecture organized by a French Circle is free if you are a member of that Circle.
Some Circles offer free participation to two members of other French Circles' Committees. Ask the Organizing Circle's point of contact for details.

Born in Grenoble, Thierry holds a Master's degree in Applied Foreign Languages and is a very popular lecturer

Émilie is a very talented concert pianist. She was born in Aix-en-Provence and holds a PhD in "Music in Modernist literature"
Annie Kean
Annie was born in a suburb of Paris. She made a career in the United Nations. Her diplomas include a Master's degree in English and academic qualifications in Russian
Isabelle Schloesing
Isabelle speaks and teaches French, Italian, Spanish and Turkish. She is also the President of the French Circle of Winchester
Catherine Greensmith
An Academic and one of the Alliance's long-standing lecturers, Catherine does not offer virtual talks but she visits interested centres. Her main themes concern the History of Art.
Germaine Jones
Born in Lyon, Germaine holds a Licence-ès-Lettres and has been awarded the insignia of Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques. She is a writer and a long-standing lecturer. Guest speaker (Scotland Yard, Radio4) and a beginner in the field of virtual talks..

WORKSHOPS
To increase your knowledge of the French language, why not join one of our workshops?
Led by Thierry Viennois, these workshops are held between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m (or between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Wednesdays) on the dates indicated in the "Ateliers" section of this website. The cost is £10 for a 2-hour session or £54 for 6 sessions (12 hours of tuition).
